You can enjoy the coastal villages of Porwrinkle Kingsand and Cawsand. and the inland villages of Millbrook, Anthony, St John, Crafthole. or the natural beauty of Rame head and its Forts, The tourist attraction of Antony House and Mount Edgecome Country Park. are within a few miles. |

Whitsand Bay is well known for its water sports. The surfing beaches are ideal for beginners . For children, the flat nature of the beach make it safe for paddling and investigating the rock pools or the smugglers caves. At low tide the sea go out a long way, leaving behind a quality beach ideal for sandcastles. A toilet, cafe and lifeguards are available in summer months. |

Although Plymouth offers excellent high street shops. Nearby shops at Millbrook cater for all your daily needs. Torpoint also has a good range of shops including a larger supermarket. |

The view from the chalet is ever changing with the moods of the sea. Views include, Handgliders/ Paragliders taking off, near the chalet, the Rame Pennisular, Surfers, Jet Skies, Water Skiers, the Eddystone Lighthouse, the diving wreck of the Sycilia , Fishing boats, Naval maneuvers, Submarines, Dinghy's, Speedboats, Yachts, Sea birds, Birds of Prey, Porpoises and the coastline to Looe, all in one sweeping Bay. |

Uniquely Cliftonville offers 160 degree
panoramic views from the lounge. More limited view can be enjoyed from the
conservatory. |

The chalet has several areas of patio and decking. A lit barbeque area is available for evening use. |

The chalet is entered via a stable door into
the Kitchen which has a range of fitted units with fridge/freezer
microwave, oven/hob, washing machine, dishwasher. |

The lounge is entered from the kitchen by French doors. It has a comfortable three piece leather suite ,with an additional double bed settee. Entertainment is provided by TV with Freeview , Video and Hifi.. A wide range of tourist information is available, along with books and games. In the window area their is a small table with four chairs, a floor mounted x100 telescope. The raised viewing area has easy chairs to relax in, on inclement days, whilst enjoy the panoramic sea view. Spacesaver stairs lead to the second floor. |

The front entrance to the chalet is via the
conservatory which is used as the dining area. |

With views to the rear fields and side views to the coast, the bedroom has a double bed, vanity unit, dressing table ,and built in wardrobes. |

The centrally heated bathroom is equipped with an electric shower over a corner bath. Several bathroom shelves give adequate storage for your belongings.. There is also a bathroom chair, bathroom cabinet, heated towel rail, mirrors and shaver point.

The rear bedroom, has a single Captains Bed with draws and a further 2ft6 pull out bed underneath, (suitable for use with sleeping bag). The television sits on a small set of draws, and there is a built in wardrobe. A small window gives field views and patio door leads out to the rear. |

The loft conversion is reached from the lounge by a
spacsaver staircase. A door leads into the bedroom which is sub
divided with twin
beds, wardrobe and draws. The other side of the divison there is a single
bed and a cloakroom for occasional use. |

It should be noted that Cliftonville
is located some 25 feet above road level. The steps to the chalet are
fairly easy going and suitable for the slightly infirm. however wheelchair access
would be difficult. Access to the beech is via a zig zag path down the
cliff, adjacent to the chalet. Further beach access is
from the National Trust car park and the Holiday Camp. Please note that
accent from the beech is strenuous, although there are resting points. With
this in mind the nearby beaches at Cawsand, Kingsand, Portwrinkle,
Downderry and Seaton may
be more suitable for less energetic. |

Getting there by car Turn off the A38 at roundabout towards Torpoint. After 5
Miles turn right to
Crafthole. Follow the road through Crafthole after 2 miles turn
right to Freathy Cliff . Follow the road past the NT car park at
Freathy, Cliftonville
is a few chalets pass the Freathy bus shelter. |
